The EarCrush score.

If it bothers you where it is, let us know in the feedback section where you might rather have it.
The EarCrush score is designed to identify artists that are growing their social media presence at an exponential rate. There are over 30 metrics that contribute to creating the EarCrush score, some examples of metrics we use are: SoundCloud likes, Facebook page likes, and Twitter retweets.

The higher an artist’s EarCrush score, the higher they rank on EarCrush discover rankings and the more likely the artist will be found by curious music fans.
Artists are rewarded with an EarCrush score increase when their social presence grows on major social media platforms. A high EarCrush score is dependent on an artist’s social presence growth overtime.

Some ways to raise your EarCrush score:
  • Post content to increase engagement.
  • Motivate your EarCrush followers to share your work.
  • Appear on EarCrush top ranking lists.
  • Increase the amount of engagement (likes, views, shares, plays etc.) on Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, YouTube, and SoundCloud.
If your EarCrush score is high it simply means your music and content is trending and you have potential to "reach" more and more people if you keep it up. Whether you just want to get your music out there or you want to make more money, your reach is an important factor in increasing your chances of success.
We do status checks on how many fake followers somebody has to remove them from the rankings.
